These images are from a family photoshoot with the Rawe family. The family chose the location of Oakenshaw Nature Reserve close to Durham. It is a beautiful location with a few ponds linked to each other, and surrounded by woodland. It is a haven for wildlife and the jetties are great photo opportunities.

Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes, born 1986 and a photographer from Bishop Auckland, County Durham in the North East of England. He has been interested in photography for many years now. Chris loves exploring and being creative, finding different angles and perspectives to capture that precious moment. Chris says “It is amazing how different a photo can look just by changing the angle or zoom, and it is this that gives so many possibilities for photographers to explore.”
