Sunderland Airshow

Sunderland Airshow is an annual airshow that is held near Roker and Seaburn seafronts. Its the largest free airshow in Europe and attracts a large number of planes including the Red Arrows.

I usually go down with my camera and do a bit of event photography to add to my portfolio. Its great capturing the atmosphere of the event, always very busy and plenty of opportunities for photographs.

Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes, born 1986 and a photographer from Bishop Auckland, County Durham in the North East of England. He has been interested in photography for many years now. Chris loves exploring and being creative, finding different angles and perspectives to capture that precious moment. Chris says “It is amazing how different a photo can look just by changing the angle or zoom, and it is this that gives so many possibilities for photographers to explore.”
